I am grateful for sign language. I am not deaf, I may have selective hearing and try to be funny, but I am not deaf, yet I am grateful for sign language as I am able to communicate though the specific hand gestures of sign language to those who are deaf.
I am grateful that this allows me to speak successfully to those who are deaf and help them be understood. I am also grateful to know a small amount, soon to be large, amount of sign language gestures to communicate efficiently. I am grateful that I am able to help make a difference to some lives and learn about those who are deaf or unable to talk.
